I was just reading someone else's blog where I made a post about the new film out
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe when I remembered about Philip Pullman's
His Dark Materials triology. If you look on amazon.co.uk you'll see that all the reviews for the books are magnificient. They're sold as children's books (I got the first one from my 16-year-old cousin in England) but they really are for everyone. If you're looking for something more in depth, more mature, more tantalising than Harry Potter (and I love HP don't get me wrong), you've got to get this series...
Read the Amazon.co.uk reviews of the book, they're very informative and good. And I definitely agree with one reviewer, if these books are going to become movies, Peter Jackson should direct them.
Anyway, time to get back to work. Wait, I think a snack is in order first... then back to work :-)

I haven't done much leisure reading in a loooooooooooooooooooooooong while but I may just buy a book and do something
I ran through two books on my journey up here yesterday. Sooooo nice, didn't even feel the need to pay for American Airline's overpriced headphones :p
